Ng Man Kin


In 1976, the wheel of fortune brought Man Kin to the family of St. Joseph under the leadership of Rev. Brother Paul Sun. He then spent his ensuing seven formative years there and graduated from the first Form 7 class in 1983.


Man Kin obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Hull in England and a Master of Laws degree in the University of London in England. After practicing as a solicitor in private sectors and as a Crown Counsel in the prosecution division of the Attorney General’s Chambers of the Hong Kong Government, he set up his own law firm in 1995. 


He is presently a partner in Messrs. Kwok, Ng and Chan, Solicitors and Notaries, specializing in civil litigation. He is also a practicing Notary Public.


He is the legal adviser of the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions and over 30 trade unions in Hong Kong. He has been appointed by the Government of Hong Kong SAR to serve as the Chairman of the Appeal Tribunal constituted under the Buildings Ordinance and a Member of the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal Panel. He has been teaching law in the City University of Hong Kong on a part time basis for more than 20 years.
